The Studio
Feb. 2nd, 2013 12:38 amWarning: dimensions may not match outside.
Outside, this looks like a house, if a bit slanted. No two angles quite match up; this is not the place for anyone with obsessive tendencies or a degree in engineering. There's a simple sign outside labeled "STUDIO".
Upon entry, there's a waiting room and main area that looks very tidy, very neat, much like most waiting rooms around. This one though is in a constant state of slight change; the walls get things painted on them, often landscapes with various strands of color or surreal imagery that sometimes link together in a sprawling mural. Beyond that's a wide central hallway that leads to some siderooms and a large one in the back, which has all of his paints, brushes, and main work studio. This connects to the backyard through a garage door.
These side rooms could be anything. They are typically shut; the ones that aren't locked lead to any number of random room possibility. The ones that are locked lead to an empty white space that expands for potentially miles, half-erased or half-made rooms that have ... half a room, and half nothingness, or any other such chaotic features. As The Artist is constantly remaking the space inside, and remolding it, the rooms change frequently for whatever purpose he needs them, or whatever he wants around.
The whole place is also pretty big; he's made some size adjustments to the interior (exterior only somewhat) and is working to make it fit anyone. The garage opening in the studio itself ought to be a large enough door to get whatever the main door might not.
